Fatherless Sons Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to mentoring and supporting children from fatherless households. We offer mentorship programs, educational resources, and financial assistance to empower youth, encouraging positive outcomes while filling the guidance gap often found in these homes.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Fatherless Sons is to provide the mentorship, guidance and critical financial assistance to help youth navigate a successful path to adulthood and break the cycle of absence.

Even though our organization primarily focuses on young men growing up in fatherless households, we accept all who are willing to join our cause. We are happy to welcome young adults raised in two-parent households, girls growing up in a fatherless household, and adults of all stripes looking to be the difference in their community.
Programs
Our programs equip youth with essential life skills often lacking in fatherless households. We offer practical lessons that empower them to tackle daily challenges, promoting independence and self-confidence. By providing a supportive environment, we bridge the gap in knowledge and experience, ensuring participants have the tools to succeed and build a brighter future.

LaShawn Wiley

LaShawn Wiley has served on the board of directors for the Broome County Urban League, the board of directors for United Health Services Foundation, 100 Black Men of Syracuse Finance Committee, and now serves as a board member and the Executive Director of Fatherless Sons Incorporated. LaShawn has also worked as a Senior Personal Banking Adviisor and Bank VP for Wilmington Trust Wealth Management.
Patrick Moss

Patrick Moss has served as the Inaugural President of the Riverview Estates Homeowners Association and has worked as a Business Consultant and Operations Manager in the restaurant industry. Patrick has worked as a Life Coach and has mentored countless youth in the communities he has lived in over the years. Patrick has lived over 30 years on each coast of our country and is an avid golfer who has played golf on 5 of the 7 continents of our beautiful planet.
Qin Wiley

Board Member
Qin Wiley has been a New York State residence for over 30 years and has worked as a Financial Services Professional with her FINRA securities licenses 7 and 63. She has also spent 10 years with H&R Block as a Tax Professional and has worked as a Gap employee/manager for over 10 years. Qin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and is a proud military mom with a son serving in the US Airforce.
David Wilson

David Wilson grew up in New York City and now resides in Syracuse, New York. As a Senior Relationship Banker and Assistant Vice President, he enjoys helping individuals and families navigate important decisions to achieve their financial goals. David also dedicates his time to supporting those with physical and mental health challenges through initiatives such as the MitoAction Walk and NYC Mural Project for Mental Health. He is passionate about helping young adults build confidence to make meaninful connections and reach their full potential.
